Why did you decide to join the eateria team?
I’ve always liked start ups and working with entrepreneurs. When I was growing up, everyone in my family was part of the family business. I feel as though I’ve been accumulating lots of experiences during my work career and I saw the opportunity with eateria as one in which I can put those experiences and skills to their best use.
Describe your role here at eateria.
I have two areas of focus
- Leverage strategic partnerships to grow our revenue and
- Make sure from an operational perspective, we serve our customers and exceed their expectations
Tell us about your previous experience.
I’ve worked for 11 different employers across 7 different industries, I’ve been through 5 company mergers. I’ve been in operations, sales, sales management and channel management both domestically and internationally. There’s not much I haven’t done except write code!
You’ve only been here 3 weeks, but what is your favorite part of working at eateria.
I like the product so much, I think it can help so many restaurant owners stay in business and its affordable. I also like the team, we have extremely talented people working here. Working in downtown St. Louis is very satisfying to me.
What makes you excited to get out of bed in the morning?
I always welcome what’s next. What’s the challenge of the day? and if I can help solve just one problem then I feel productive.
What’s your favorite St. Louis Restaurant?
My favorite restaurant was King Louie’s, sadly it closed in 2007. I’m still waiting for its replacement
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at our beautiful downtown office?
I like to walk my two favorite dogs Trudy and Louise, we try to get in a 3 mile loop daily and they like it a lot when we walk to Forest Park! I love to hike, I love my book club and I like to see movies.
